As some of you may know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The pink ribbon is an international symbol of breast cancer awareness. It, and the color pink in general, are worn during October to express moral support for women battling breast cancer.

The pink ribbon represents fear of breast cancer, hope for the future, and the charitable goodness of people who support the breast cancer movement.

During this month, many organisations raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Supporters help to campaign, collect, and set up events. Businesses and people really get behind this cause and help out tremendously.
