Following collaborations with
 Karl Lagerfeld,
Giambattista Valli, and
Matthew Williamson, Macy’s Impulse announced today that they’ve lined up Alberta Ferretti to create their next one-off collection.  Ferretti, who’s best known for Greek goddess-like gowns and major red carpet moments, has brought a bit of her Italian heritage to the collection, using the Amalfi coast as the capsule’s driving inspiration for it’s 30 specially-created pieces. “The collection I created is fresh and bright, featuring light summer clothing that evokes the spirit of my beautiful country and is at the same time true to my style,” Ferretti told WWD. Skinny eyelet pants, white jersey sleeveless tops, and floor-grazing chiffon gowns comprise the collection, each evoking the designer’s signature airy ease for a remarkable fraction of the cost—the line will retail between $49 and $119, bowing in 185 stores on April 17th.  In the meantime, see the sketch above for a sneak peak of what’s to come!
