Margareta van den Bosch, H&M’s Creative Advisor and the woman responsible for ushering in the era of high street designer collaborations, is—like everyone else—obsessed with
 Tom Ford. Though the
Versace for H&M collection doesn’t even hit stores until this weekend, van den Bosch has already told Business Week that they’d love to make Ford their next luxury collaborator. Ford is “a very interesting name,” she said. “I can say, I wouldn’t mind.” We’re guessing no one would mind, except for
Ford.   The designer’s only just begun to build his own post-Gucci empire, launching his women’s collection and then cosmetics. Unlike Versace or Lanvin he doesn’t have archives to pull from, or even a signature aesthetic (other than sultry). No one from team Ford will comment, and van den Bosch says they’ve yet to speak with the designer.
