Olá, Eu sou Kat Von D!

Born in Montemorelos Mexico, in 1982.
Both parents are of Argentinian decent.
Came to America in -86.

Started tattooing at age 14.

Moved to LA at 17, where I worked in Hollywood at True Tattoo, before I joined the TV show, Miami Ink. Later getting my own spin off show in Los Angeles, LA Ink, which is filmed at my tattoo shop in West Hollywood called, High Voltage Tattoo.

Since then, had cameos on:

“Killing Loneliness” music video for my fave rock band, HIM.

Mad Tv, Bam’s Unholy Union, The Denise Richards Show

With upcoming appearences on a vampire movie, “The Bleeding”, as well as The Margaret Cho Show, and the new Alkaline Trio music video for their hit song, “Save Me”.

Set The Guinness world Record for doing the most tattoos in a 24 hour period in 2007, doing 400 tattoos, and donated the money to a charity to end child blindness, saving over 32,000 kids.

Launched my own makeup line “Kat Von D for Sephora”

Designed a set of 3 skateboards for Bam Margera through Element Skate co.

And currently working on the Kat Von D Tattoo Machine and my own book called “HIGH VOLTAGE TATTOO”, due to release in January 2009.

Currently dating Mötley Crüe bass player, Nikki Sixx.

Own 2 hairless sphinx cats named, Ludwig and Agatha.

Classically trained piano player since the age of 6, hence the obsession with Beethoven.

Live in Hollywood, California. Have older sis, Karoline, and younger brother, Michael.

English is my second language after Spanish.

Hobbies: Going to check out rock shows on a regular basis, writing in my journals, collecting 1970’s platform shoes, Mourning Jewlery, tattoos from all over the world, rosaries, quill pens, rare skateboards, antiques and makeup! Spending time with my family, traveling, driving my 1951 Chevy, drawing, etc etc.
